What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your actual password).
- Your resources: what you type into the builder and the resources it creates, so they can be saved in your library.
- Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your subscription status and a customer reference. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: a login cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs (such as IP address) kept for security.
Do not enter pupils' personal data
is for teachers. Please don't type pupils' full names, dates of birth, health or SEND details that identify a child, or any other information that identifies a pupil. For report comments, use first names or initials only.
Why we use your data
- To provide the service you signed up for: your account, creating resources, your library and billing (lawful basis: contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (lawful basis: legitimate interests).
- To send account emails such as password resets (lawful basis: contract).
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes your data for us
- Anthropic runs the AI that creates resources. What you enter in the builder is sent to Anthropic to generate each resource, under its commercial terms.
- Stripe handles payments.
- Our hosting provider stores the service and its database.
- Our email provider sends account emails.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and resources while your account is open. You can delete individual resources at any time. If you ask us to close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax purposes (usually 6 years).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email . If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
