1 Sign in to host a session
Hosting is free. You just need a free Lessonsmith account, so sessions belong to a teacher. Pupils never need one.
Sign in or create a free account
Pupils can use Revision Forge on their own at any time, with no account: open the pupil page.

2 Your sessions
No live sessions. Start one above.
ποΈ Past sessions
Sessions you've run, with their names, what you ran and how many pupils joined and finished. No nicknames, tokens or answers are kept here. You can download a class's tokens for 24 hours after a session ends.

π« Class tokens
Class tokens come with Revision Forge Plus.
π§ͺ The same tokens open Model Forge, our AI projects for GCSE and A level. See your classes' Model Forge progress.
3 Check pupils' coins
Pupils can send you their Smith Coin code or coin picture (for example by school email, Teams or Google Classroom). Paste the codes or add the pictures here to see each pupil's progress, their exam practice answers and any practice papers they made, with the mark schemes.
π Coins are read on this computer: nothing about them is sent to us, except the question numbers when you download a mark scheme.
4 Exam builder
Build an exam-style paper from Lessonsmith's question bank in the style of your board's papers, edit any question and add your own. Then open it as a proper exam paper to print or save as a PDF, download it for Word, or set it as a task for your pupils.
π My saved papers
Save a paper to keep it in your account with its title, date, course, topics, number of questions, marks and skill range. Open it again any time to print it, download it or set it for pupils. Saved papers hold questions and mark schemes only: no pupil information. Please don't put pupils' names or personal details in your own questions.

π§ How to answer: exam technique
For any subject and topic: what examiners reward in that subject, the topic's questions from easy (β² warm-up) to hard (β stretch), a plan for each, and how to tackle every command word. Show it on the board, print it for your class, or let pupils open the same guide in Revision Forge.
π Python Pathways: set a class project
Python Pathways takes pupils from Key Stage 3 to A level one skill at a time: learn it, try it, then β² Do Now, β core and β extension challenges, with hints and extra support. To set a sandbox project for your class, copy its link and share it, or show it on the board. Nothing about pupils is collected: their code stays on their device and in their Smith Coin.
5 Tasks set for pupils
Set a paper from the exam builder for the pupils in one of your live sessions, or for a class's tokens (with Plus). Pupils answer on their own device: their answers stay there. You see each nickname, whether they've finished and, if they mark themselves against the mark scheme, their marks.

6 How it works, and what we keep
Share the link
Show the class code, or share the link. Pupils join with no name, email or account, and get a random nickname like βCalm Otterβ.
Watch live
You see each nickname, the step they're on, their quiz score and their Smith Coin token. Move the whole class on to the next activity when you're ready.
Tokens at the end
When you end the session, pupils save their token (their Smith Coin code) and choose to keep or delete it. Download the class's tokens in case anyone forgets.
Nothing personal
What pupils type (brain dumps, plans and code) never leaves their device. Practice test answers are sealed so only your browser can open them. Nicknames, steps, scores and tokens are deleted 24 hours after the session ends.
Ask pupils not to type their real names or other personal details anywhere. Lessonsmith's original questions are free to use with your classes. Privacy details
